ABOUT THIS SERIES "THE SOUL OF LANDSCAPE" The photographic series The Soul of Landscape was created in Tràng An, Ninh Bình (Vietnam), a UNESCO World Heritage site. This place, with its emerald rivers winding through ancient karst mountains and caves hidden deep within the land, is more than a natural wonder. It is a place where Vietnamese history, mythology, and spirituality are etched into the landscape, a sacred space where nature and legend have coexisted for thousands of years. Through these images, Viet Ha Tran transcends traditional landscape photography, transforming the natural scenery into dreamlike visions that hover between reality and imagination. The shifting hues - blue, violet, gold, crimson - evoke an altered perception of the environment, as if the land itself is alive, breathing with memory and emotion. Painterly textures and surreal colours blur the line between photography and painting, reflecting the artist's unique artistic practice.
