Victorian-era cased art glass vase featuring a mother of pearl satin finish. The blown glass body is constructed with a shaded rose or pink outer layer over a white opal glass lining, visible at the ruffled rim. The vase displays an air-trap diamond quilted pattern and has been acid-treated to achieve a matte texture. Two applied frosted clear glass handles are attached to the sides, featuring crimped terminals. The base shows a rough snapped-off pontil mark and retains two handwritten paper labels. One rectangular adhesive label is printed with TEMPLE'S ANTIQUES and carries the handwritten notations ROSE, D.Q., and M.O.P.
