Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A very large cast bronze figure of Bastet as a seated cat, with an elongated body, upright forelegs and the tail curled beside the hindquarters. The head has tall pointed ears, almond-shaped eyes and a short muzzle with incised whisker lines. A gold hoop earring with a pendant drop is attached to the left ear. Accompanied by a modern custom-made display stand.
