Lot of three Opalino vases, a model designed by Paolo Venini in 1932 and produced by Venini in Murano. The model is one of the best-known shapes of Venini's opaline glass production, recognizable by the broad body, rounded shoulder, flared neck and dark glass base. Colors: the colorations are among the most sought-after UVA, RIO and AQUAMARINE Broad body tapering slightly toward the bottom, rounded shoulder and neck that opens to a flared mouth. Dark glass base. The opaline glass, milky and translucent, gives a soft and uniform light that varies with the ambient light. Dimensions: height 36 cm [to be confirmed on each piece], diameter [to be measured]. Original circular label “MADE IN ITALY - VENINI MURANO” on each vase. Year of production: 1989 and 1990.
