Veneta Lumi

Rare Pair of Eyeball Lamps from Veneta Lumi – Made in Italy Space Age Excellence (1960s/70s) Splendid and exceptional pair of table lamps (also usable as wall sconces) produced by the famous Italian manufacturer Veneta Lumi. Characterized by a vibrant yellow color, these lamps perfectly embody Space Age aesthetics and are today difficult to find as an intact pair. The lamps differ in a few minor details, probably from different years but obviously from the same manufacturer. The yellow color also varies slightly. They still have the original factory cords with switches and plugs, which likewise probably differ due to different production years (see last photo close-up). AUTHENTICITY AND DESIGN DETAILS: One of the two lamps features the label with the brand inside the shade under the base, and the brand stamped on the underside of the base, all confirming authenticity (see close-up photo). Versatility: The shades are fully vertically adjustable, allowing the light beam to be directed as desired. TECHNICAL CONDITION: Operation: Both have been tested and are in perfect working order. Vintage Condition: The pieces present themselves in good aesthetic condition. They show natural signs of wear consistent with age and originality (photos are an integral part of the description). SPECIFICATIONS: Dimensions: Height about 16 cm | Sphere diameter about 12 cm (per single lamp). Bulb: Standard socket (warm light with silvered shade recommended for the effect shown in the photo). Bulbs not included. Note: On request, it is possible to provide a pair of new identical bulbs for an extra €20 after payment of the lot. Shipping: Professionally reinforced packaging and tracked shipping across Europe. Extra-EU customs duties to be borne by the buyer. Invoicing: On request, it is possible to issue an invoice/turchase receipt (for Italy you need to provide the tax code via messaging immediately after purchase). A piece of Italian design history offered with no reserve price (NO RESERVE)."
