Vintage Bottle/Jar in Artistic Murano Glass – Blue Canne, Amber and Aventurine – With Original Label - 1960s An object of refined art that embodies the unmistakable elegance of Italian Mid-Century Modern design. This splendid ribbed bottle-jar with a coordinated cap, dating from the 1960s, is an authentic masterpiece of Murano glassmaking tradition. Characterized by complex technical craftsmanship and a striking visual impact, it is the ideal piece for art glass collectors, perfect to adorn a vintage vanity or as a refined furnishing accessory. The Craft The cylindrical body is handmade using the vertical glass cane technique. Strips of vibrant blue, warm amber, and precious aventurine alternating harmoniously, creating a chromatic contrast of great charm. The presence of the characteristic glimmering copper crystals inside the aventurine gives the object golden glints and a unique three-dimensional luminosity. The Form and Details The design features a highly marked relief ribbing that adds dynamism and depth to the piece. The Cap The piece retains its precious original hand-worked cap, spherical and rich in inclusions of golden aventurine, perfectly matched to the flared neck of the jar.
