Vase - Murano glass - Murano vase 1970

pharmacy vase "Scavo" in artistic Murano glass – 1970s Elegant pharmacy vase made entirely by hand in Murano in the seventies, characterized by the evocative excavated-effect workmanship, inspired by the look of ancient artifacts unearthed by time. The glass, in delicate ivory and honey tones, is enhanced by refined hand-applied gold decorations that frame the central inscription and give the piece a sophisticated, timeless charm. The surface deliberately presents a soft and slightly lived-in appearance, a distinctive element of this particular decorative technique. The lid, finished with an elegant hand-shaped knob in the form of a fruit, recalls the Venetian pharmacy vases tradition, transforming this object into a precious furnishing and collecting item. Each piece is unique: slight variations in glass shades, in the distribution of decorations, or in surface finishes are the result of artisanal workmanship and represent the authentic value of a work made entirely by hand. A decorative piece of great charm, ideal for enriching both classic and contemporary environments with the discreet elegance of antique artistic glass.
