Vase - Internal Lamp - Marble - Reliefs of Roses

Elegant ornamental desk vase illuminated from the second half of the 20th century, made of translucent white marble with soft ivory veins and conceived within the neoclassical taste. Its refined silhouette, inspired by ancient criaters and decorative cups of the classical tradition, combines architectural balance, sculptural richness, and a distinguished decorative value, making it a piece with great presence both as an ornamental object and as ambient lighting. The body features elaborate hand-carved relief decoration, headed by a continuous succession of open roses, buds, and sinuous foliage that run along the central area of the piece. This floral repertoire, of great delicacy and depth, brings dynamism and a pronounced romantic character, harmoniously contrasting with the geometric purity of its structure. The stylized neck culminates in a wavy mouth shaped like petals, reinforcing the naturalistic inspiration and the refinement of its design. The most singular quality of this piece lies in its interior illumination, which takes advantage of the translucent properties of marble to generate a warm, enveloping light. When lit, the natural veins of the material take center stage, revealing nuances and transparencies that transform the vase into an authentic luminous sculpture. The light also highlights the modeling of the roses and emphasizes the relief’s volumes, producing an attractive scenographic effect. Due to its timeless aesthetic and careful execution, this illuminated vase is ideal for neoclassical interiors, Hollywood Regency, contemporary classics or high-end eclectic décor. A decorative piece of great elegance that combines the nobility of marble, the delicacy of sculptural work, and the sophisticated atmosphere of ornamental lighting from the mid-20th century.
