Vase - Glass

Spectacular large sculptural vase from the Verrerie d’Art de Toul, made in satin red glass and still bearing its original label “Verrerie d’art de Toul – Unique Piece”. This creation stands out for its particularly expressive organic form. The long slender body opens into a wide, asymmetrical corolla, worked hot and stretched into several points. From the Angle you view it, the silhouette evokes an arum or a large stylized flower. The glass presents a beautiful deep red to raspberry red color, with lighter and slightly orange-tinged nuances in the thinner parts. The satin finish gives the whole piece a soft, velvety look and particularly enhances the curves of the piece. It is a piece of substantial dimensions and a considerable weight: Height: 36 cm Diameter / maximum width at the level of the corolla: about 22 cm Weight: 2.280 kg The piece retains its precious original label “Verrerie d’art de Toul – Unique Piece”. The base also bears a handwritten inscription referring to the Verrerie d’Art de Toul. The “Verrerie d’Art de Toul” mark was registered in 2000. This piece thus can be situated in the early 2000s Toul people’s production. The vase is presented from many angles to fully appreciate its sculptural work, its color variations and its condition. The photographs are an integral part of the description. A beautiful piece of French art glass, remarkable for its large dimensions, its weight of over 2 kg and especially for its spectacular flower-like form entirely worked in glass. Manufacturer: Verrerie d’Art de Toul Origin: France, Toul Period: early 2000s Material: blown and hot-worked art glass Color: red / satin raspberry red Mention: “Unique Piece” on the original label Height: 36 cm Maximum width: approx. 22 cm Weight: 2.280 kg Exceptionally careful and secure packaging given the weight, shape and fragility of the piece.
