Vase - 2003 - Ceramic - Vase Marei

This vintage West German ceramic vase bears witness to the creativity of the Marei Keramik manufacture during the 1970s. Its sculptural and geometric silhouette takes the original shape of a rectangular brick pierced by a wide asymmetrical circular opening in its center, topped by a small off-center cylindrical collar. The textured cream or off-white surface is adorned with a stunning Fat Lava style decoration featuring dramatic, thick vertical drips of intense glossy cobalt blue running down from the collar and coating the edges of the piece. The object measures 21 cm in height, with a width of 14 cm and a depth of 8 cm. Its individual and total weight is 1200 g. This piece features the model number 2003 molded in relief underneath the base, highly characteristic of the West Germany production from this factory. The item remains in good overall condition, free of any major cracks or chips, beautifully preserving all the intensity of its original glazes. Shipping is exclusively reserved for mainland European Union member countries, and no delivery can be guaranteed to island destinations or overseas territories.
