Valdi - Las flores que esperaban la noche - XL

The Flowers Waiting for Night Artist: Valdi Series: Interior Garden Technique: Acrylic on canvas Description: The Flowers Waiting for Night transport us to that moment when the day begins to say goodbye and nature takes on a different beauty. An exuberant bouquet of flowers rises above a golden vase, while in the background a landscape of mountains and turquoise waters remains beneath a sky in violet tones. The scene seems to guard the last light of the day, as if the flowers resist closing their petals before the arrival of night. The composition establishes a delicate dialogue between the vitality of the flowers and the serenity of the landscape. The intense reds, violets, and yellows stand out against the green leaves with defined contours, while the geometrically structured vase introduces an element of elegance and sophistication. The flowers appear to reach freely toward the sky, creating a sense of movement that contrasts with the stillness of the mountains and the water. Valdi develops this work through a contemporary pictorial language, characterized by expressive use of color, stylized forms, and a particular relationship between the natural elements and the spaces that surround them. The combination of bright and dark tones builds an enveloping atmosphere, where the traditional still life is transformed into a scene of poetic and almost dreamlike character. Belonging to the series Interior Garden, The Flowers Waiting for Night speaks of the beauty of transitional moments, of what remains when the light begins to fade. A work that invites contemplation of nature from a place of calm and to discover how even the arrival of night can become a celebration of life and color. Original and unique work, signed by the artist. Delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
