VALANDRE - Palms and a Pale Blue Coupé

VALANDRE - Palms and a Pale Blue Coupé - Mixed media on canvas Mixed media, Acrylic painting · Digital painting · Hand-signed · 2026 A palm-lined avenue, under a sky of a clear blue. A pale blue American car is parked at the edge of the sidewalk, and a woman, sunglasses on her nose, leans against the door as if waiting for someone. Blue shadows cross the road. The painting plays with a pause: a moment of sun before setting off again. One imagines the conversation she has just had, or the one she is about to have. A luminous and casual canvas, that smells like Californian vibes from the sixties. Technique mixte : acrylic painting on pigment ink print, matte varnish. Varnish applied by hand, for depth of color and durable protection of the work. Support : premium stretched canvas on wooden frame, ready to hang. Format : to be specified. Signed VALANDRE · Galerie Labo Joconde / Atelier Joconde · certificate of authenticity provided. VALANDRE is one of the creations bringing together artists Le Yack, Neo Pablo and Popsan within Atelier Joconde, a family studio where three sensibilities coexist: neo-realism, pop, and free figuration. Under this name, the studio celebrates sunlit avenues, lined palm trees, and vintage cars parked along the curb, with silhouettes leaning on them for a moment’s pause. Blue shadows and vivid colors give the scene a lighthearted joy, in the spirit of a reimagined America. Each work is a unique piece. Instagram @atelierjoconde.
