Edo period (1615-1868), woodblock prints, ink and colors on paper, the first, Horie and Nekozane, circa 1856 (paper size 14 1/2 x 9 1/4 in., the second Sugatami Bridge, Omokage Bridge, and Jariba at Takata, circa 1857, (paper size 15 x 9 3/4 in.), both from the series "One Hundred Famous Views of Edo," framed in identical manner to show full margins, under glass with black and gold mats in gilt wood faux bamboo frames. Frame dimensions 20 x 15 1/4 x 1 in. From the Collection of late Cowles Liipfert, Winston Salem, North Carolina Overall good condition; some light toning; fading to colors; both prints loose except for top.
