Swiss chronograph pocket watch from Union Horlogère, circa 1900–1915. The watch has a robust steel case with serial number 22813 and historic service markings on the inside of the case back. The white enamel dial features Arabic numerals, a subdial for the chronograph, and an outer kilometer scale. The dial shows light, age-related blemishes. Mechanical, intricately designed manual-winding movement of high quality. It is in good working condition. It is equipped with a traditional column wheel for the chronograph function. The movement is luxuriously finished with Geneva stripes (Côtes de Genève) on the bridges and perlage (circular graining) on the base plate, combined with polished steel springs and a screwed balance. The watch starts, stops and resets properly and is fitted with a contrasting gold-colored crown and pendant ring. A technically interesting collectible for the admirer of antique Swiss watchmaking. Comes with a matching metal watch chain and T-bar, chain length about 25 cm. Sent by registered and insured mail.
