Uncle Mun - 33 Newspaper pages & strips - 1910/1911

Rare surviving episodes from various Sunday Comics sections of Uncle Mun by Fred Nankivel on one each single full page. Published in the period 1910-1911 Only some images are selected. Uncle Mun could fix any situation in his own clever fashion. This comic was popular enough to spawn a series of film shorts, and Uncle Mun was played by the cartoonist himself, Fred Nankivel, with a putty nose and chin. A copy of "A Thrilling Rescue by Uncle Mun" exists at the MOMA in New York. The pages are in good condition, although wrinkles, tears, flaking and missing pieces may occur. Very delicate pages due to their old age... On the back there are 3x Buster Brown and Monkey shines on Marseleen. A lot of Johnny Quack and his pals Wood and Willy Hop by C. Twelvetrees.
