All auctions / Arts & Graphics / Udo Lindenberg (1946) - Pressefoto zum 50
For sale is a museum-grade, historically documented collectible: an original black-and-white press photo of Panikpräsident Udo Lindenberg, personally signed on the front by the artist. On the back is the original archival sticker from the well-known Berlin photo agency HIPP-FOTO. According to the stamp and documentation, the photo was archived and used exactly for media coverage on the eve of Udo Lindenberg's 50th birthday (aired on Thursday, 16.05.1996 on N3). * Artist: Udo Lindenberg * Subject: Original black-and-white press photo * Provenance: HIPP-FOTO Berlin (archival stamp from May 1996 on the back) * Signature: Hand-signed by Udo Lindenberg * Framing: high-quality, silver aluminum photo frame (size: 24 x 30 cm) * Passe-partout: custom-made, black and acid-free slanted-cut mat board (thickness: 1.4 mm) mounted with acid-free adhesive strips * Condition: Very good, superb for age (see archival front- and back-side photos). Immediately ready to hang This press photo captures the rock idol in the mid-1990s in his absolute core competence: live on stage, focused at the microphone, in the classic Lindenberg outfit with hat and tie. The image is a fascinating time-document from a period when the feuilleton and the media had already cemented Udo Lindenberg as a living legend of German music history. LEGAL NOTICES * VAT: Due to the small business regulation under § 19 UStG, no VAT is charged and it is not shown on invoices. * Right of withdrawal: You may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days.
