Species: Tyrannosaurus rex Family: Tyrannosauridae Formation: Hell Creek Locality: Custer County, Montana, United States. Geological period: Late Cretaceous Geologic stage: Maastrichtian (67 to 66 million years ago) Tooth measurement: 1.12 in (2.8448 cm) Matrix: 3.4 × 2.9" This is an excellent Tyrannosaurus rex tooth in situ found in the private lease of our partner in Custer County. Debate: 1) Nanotyrannus versus T-Rex (teeth longer, finer and more compressed with a constriction at their base are labeled Nanotyrannus. 2) The larger teeth with a more rounded tip and without a constriction at their base are labeled T-Rex, scientifically proven !!!! No restoration - no repairs This tooth is of exceptional quality. The dentition on the distal and mesial edges is excellent !!! Certificate of authenticity included. 3D floating frame included. Very rare !!!!!
