Titled Logan, this dynamic contemporary artwork is a unique asymmetrical wall composition made of 4 individual stretched canvas panels of varying dimensions (38×38 cm, 31×31 cm, 23×23 cm, and 15×15 cm) assembled to form an offset structure. The artist skillfully blends the codes of Pop Art, Street Art, and Abstract Expressionism to explore themes of identity fragmentation, action, and memory. The visual core features original X-Men (Marvel) comic book cutouts pasted onto the surface of the canvases. These narrative fragments are meticulously chosen and arranged to create an organized chaos. Intense battle scenes, close-ups of Wolverine (ranging from his classic blue and yellow costume to darker, modern iterations), and oversized expressions of pain and rage can be seen throughout. The lower central panel displays a particularly striking cry of pain. These figurative elements are then submerged and reorganized under a layer of graphic abstraction and expressive paint. Fine geometric lines alongside triangular, square, and circular shapes are drawn using markers and paint, creating a network of connections and tensions. A vibrant, contrasting color palette is used: neon fuchsia, acid yellow, bright red, deep black, gray, and cobalt blue. The artwork plays with textures, combining the flatness of comic paper with the tactile relief of paint and marker strokes. Textured areas of gray and black lend an industrial depth. A large abstract brushstroke motif in the upper left, reminiscent of a deconstructed ideogram, dominates the upper section. Overall, the piece is a fascinating exploration of the impact of popular imagery on the contemporary psyche, fragmented and reconnected through the artist's gesture. ( X-men numéro 151 " péché originel 1/4 ) Tribute to Marvel ORIGINAL PAINTING •The painter:Tyler / Benoit Saint-blancard Born from the chaos of the streets, structured by the sky: a unique vision of geometric abstraction. An Unconventional Journey At 31, the artist Tyler has a trajectory as unique as his canvases. Shaped by a background woven between the structured urbanity of Bordeaux and the vibrant intensity of Réunion Island, his creativity took root early on. At the age of 14, he immersed himself in the world of graffiti. This street art gave him early mastery of spray paint and a visceral understanding of dynamic, spontaneous gesture. His life then took a decisive turn when he became a military parachutist. From this experience, he gained not only unwavering discipline and rigor, but also a fresh perspective: a fragmented, cartographic, and structured vision of landscapes seen from above, where shapes intertwine like coordinates or blueprints. The Shift to Canvas: From Wall to Stretcher Two years ago, he made a major artistic pivot by translating his urban expertise onto canvas. This move from the wall to the canvas is not a mere transition, but a complete reinvention. He now devotes himself entirely to geometric abstraction, infusing it with years of street art experience. The Style: Controlled Geometric Chaos His work is a fascinating fusion of the instinctive chaos of graffiti and the precision of technical drawing. Through his pieces, he deconstructs and reconstructs shapes. Architecturality and Fragmentation: His work is strongly defined by the use of deconstructed geometry—triangles, squares, and fine-line grids. Fusion of Techniques: He layers textures, playing with transparency and opacity. The influence of graffiti shines through in the application of paint and the energy of flat color fields, while fine linework and stencils evoke a quasi-engineering rigor. Energetic Palette: His color palette oscillates between raw urban shades and vibrant neons, creating striking, eye-catching contrasts. Now based in Tarbes, the artist focuses on the evolution of his canvas work. Combining iron discipline with a rich history of street creation, he is an emerging talent to watch closely, offering a mature, structured, and decidedly contemporary vision of abstract urban art. si
