Two Wedgwood Portobello Road Glazed Ceramic Tableware - Bowl & Plate

The set consists of one deep round bowl finished in a light blue glaze and one flat dinner plate in a tan or khaki glaze. Both items exhibit a slightly irregular, hand-formed shape and are decorated with a raised bas-relief medallion near the rim. The medallion portrays a woman's profile encased in a ruffled circular border, intended to look like a wax seal. The underside of each piece is marked with a black printed backstamp that includes a stylized W logo, the text Wedgwood, England 1759, Portobello Road, Hand Crafted Wedgwood Ware, and Made in Italy. Several original stickers remain on the bases, including a Rubin Collection label, care instructions for dishwasher and microwave use, and a disclaimer regarding slight variations in the hand-painted finish.
