In this unexpected composition, the human hand meets the paw of a cat. Sitting in a natural posture, the feline sketches a delicate gesture toward this outstretched hand. This initial marker helps me prepare the composition while preserving the whiteness of the paper. Next comes the Bic blue ballpoint pen. The curved, spontaneous, and interwoven lines accumulate and overlap to gradually give rise to shapes, volumes, and contrasts. The density of the strokes builds the shadows and reveals the depth of the drawing, while the white spaces preserve light and balance in the composition. Pen lifts may reveal small ink dots, witnesses of the manual gesture and an integral part of the work. It is in this meeting between precision and spontaneity that my work expresses itself: a controlled construction, carried by the freedom of the line. · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · Authenticity Each Toons Renaissance drawing is a unique original work, entirely handmade and existing in a single copy (1/1).
