• Hand Signed by the Artist • Published Original Disney Comic Art Page • Certificate of Authenticity Included • Ink on Art Board - Format: 50 × 33 cm • Story Code: H 2021-042 - Page 2 • Published across Europe This is an original inked Disney comic art page by Tony Fernandez, created for the published story “The Rich Man Race” (“De rijkeluisrace”), production code H 2021-042. Page 2 features Donald Duck throughout a lively sequence set inside an elegant mansion. Across multiple panels, Donald interacts with a wealthy gentleman and other characters, with expressive gestures, comic reactions and rapidly changing situations giving the page the unmistakable rhythm of classic Disney storytelling. Executed in black ink, the page showcases confident character drawing, detailed interiors and strong facial expressions. The combination of solid blacks, clean outlines and carefully placed motion lines guides the action naturally from panel to panel and reveals the craftsmanship behind a professionally produced Disney comic. Unlike a standalone illustration, this is genuine published production art, created as part of the original process behind an official Disney comic story. The production code, page reference, original ink lines and visible editorial markings remain on the sheet, preserving its authentic studio character. “The Rich Man Race” follows Donald and Mickey as they compete against each other on behalf of two wealthy men, while Goofy searches for a treasure. Their separate adventures eventually converge, turning the pursuit of riches into a humorous test of friendship. The story was first published in the Netherlands in Donald Duck 2022-03 and subsequently appeared in several European Disney publications: Denmark: Anders And & Co. 2023-10 (2023), “Det store vædeløb” Finland: Aku Ankka 2023-18 (2023), “Äverikköralli” Netherlands: Donald Duck 2022-03 (2022), “De rijkeluisrace” Sweden: Kalle Anka & C 2023-10 (2023), “Ett race för de rika” Norway: Donald Duck & Co 2023-10 (2023), “Huttaheitifjellenes gylne pokal” ▸ Original ink on art board - Format: 50 × 33 cm (unframed) ▸ Published original Disney comic art ▸ Story code: H 2021-042 - Page 2 ▸ Created in 2021 ▸ Published in multiple European Disney editions Tony Fernandez is one of Europe’s most respected Disney artists, with over 35 years of experience creating comic art and illustrations for Disney Studios and international publishers.
