Tobacco jar - Marble

Very pretty parlor tobacco pot in solid veined white marble, dating from the late 19th century during the Napoleon III era. This object of high marble artistry immediately impresses with its density and the quality of craftsmanship, characteristic of display pieces from the late 19th century. To personalize this pot there are the owner's initials, which lends it the air of a luxury item. Some nicks related to its age, but otherwise the pot is in good condition. This object is rare as it is a unique piece.
