Tobacco box - Silver - Ottoman silver niello

Antique Ottoman case in 900-silver, intricately decorated with traditional Niello technique. The piece is attributed to the Van region in Eastern Anatolia and bears corresponding assay marks/stamps on the interior. The exterior surfaces are richly decorated with floral ornaments, geometric borders, and contrasting black Niello inlays. The sides are also elaborately worked.
