Tissot Seastar Quartz – Roman Numeral Dial – Two-Tone Case & Bracelet – Swiss Quartz – Date A distinctive vintage Tissot Seastar Quartz, combining classic Swiss watchmaking with the geometric, two-tone design language characteristic of the 1990s. The watch features an elegant silver-white dial with bold black Roman numerals, contrasting black hour and minute hands and a fine gold-tone central seconds hand. A framed date window at 3 o’clock completes the balanced and highly legible layout. The approximately 30 × 30 mm case is constructed in stainless steel and complemented by a gold-tone bezel with decorative screw details. Its original integrated two-tone bracelet continues the architectural design of the case, giving the watch a particularly distinctive vintage appearance. Story & Heritage Founded in Le Locle in 1853, Tissot is one of the historic names of Swiss watchmaking, with a long tradition of producing mechanical and quartz watches that combine Swiss engineering with accessible, distinctive design. The Seastar name has appeared on Tissot watches across several generations, becoming associated with practical everyday timepieces designed around reliability and versatility. This example reflects the aesthetic transition of Swiss watchmaking during the quartz era. Its integrated bracelet, angular case, exposed bezel details and two-tone steel-and-gold appearance are unmistakably characteristic of the 1980s, while the Roman numeral dial introduces a more classical element. The combination creates an interesting contrast: traditional Roman numerals framed within a strongly architectural, modern case. With its original bracelet, Swiss 7-jewel quartz movement and distinctive two-tone construction, this Seastar is an attractive example of Tissot's vintage quartz-era design.
