Tiffany Sterling Silver Tray in Historic Beaux-Arts Olympian Pattern

Olympian sterling silver tray. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Round with deep well and reeded rim; low-relief shoulder with dense leafing scrollwork, cornucopias, vases, and masks. A rare piece of hollowware in the historic Beaux-Arts pattern that was introduced on flatware at the Exposition Universelle in Paris in 1878. Fully marked including makers stamp, pattern no. 5765, and directors letter C (1902-7). Very good condition. Dimensions: H 1 x D 13 1/2 in. Heavy weight: 38 troy ounces. #CD205
