Tibaldi's journey began in Florence, Italy, where Giuseppe Tibaldi established the company in 1916. From its inception, Tibaldi pens reflected the rich artistic heritage of Florence, known for its craftsmanship and attention to detail. This historic city served as the perfect backdrop for Tibaldi's emergence as a leading name in luxury writing instruments, setting the stage for generations of exquisite penmaking. In 2009, the esteemed Aquila family, proprietors of the iconic Montegrappa brand, assumed control of Tibaldi, infusing the company with their decades of expertise in pen craftsmanship. With this transition, Tibaldi found itself under the stewardship of a family deeply rooted in the tradition of Italian penmaking, ensuring a seamless continuation of its legacy of excellence. Under the Aquila family's guidance, Tibaldi continued to produce pens that epitomized sophistication and quality, maintaining its status as a hallmark of Italian craftsmanship.
