Thun 1794 - Table service (19) - Bernadotte - Porcelain

Splendid and elegant dinner service (for serving dishes only and 12 dessert plates) in fine glossy white porcelain, signed by the historic Czech manufacture Thun 1794 (Bernadotte model). A great classic of Bohemian tradition, renowned for its refined Baroque/Rococo-style design with shaped edges and raised floral decorations (rocaille work). The white porcelain is entirely smooth (no colored or gilded profiles), which makes it extremely versatile, suitable for both formal occasions and everyday use, as well as safe for microwave and dishwasher use. The lot consists of splendid serving pieces and a generous dessert allocation: Serving Pieces Included: • 1 large tureen complete with lid and shaped knob • 2 salad bowls • 2 oval serving plates (large, ideal for meat or fish courses) • 1 large round serving plate (ideal for desserts or savory cakes) • 1 gravy boat Dessert Service: • 12 dessert plates (diameter about 19 cm), also ideal for appetizers. Excellent condition, little or no use The service is in excellent overall condition, the porcelain retains its original luster and the reliefs are perfectly sharp. See photos for the condition and dimensions of all pieces. I do not ship outside the European Community. The lot will be carefully packed and shipped in a reinforced polystyrene box.
