Eavis & Brown (English, founded 1980s). Group of 3 two-piece matching sets. First set comprising one corset bustier top with cap sleeves, interior boning, and adjustable lace up back with wide modesty panel; one evening jacket with button front closures, diagonal waist darts, structured bodice, and two faux front pocket flaps; both pieces in 100% pearl white silk with multicolor floral embroidery and beading. Second set comprising one blouse with short sleeves, interior boning for structure, and lace up loops to center back with wide modesty panel; one floor length skirt with subtle mermaid flare at bottom and center back zip closure; both pieces in 100% black silk with multicolor floral ribbon embroidery. Third set comprising one evening wear blazer jacket with collar, double button front closure, and shoulder pads; one midi - maxi length skirt with rectangular cut-out slit to lower center back, hook and eye clasp closure at waist, and center back zipper; both pieces in 100% pale pink silk with ribbon bow shaped embroideries and intricate, heavy beading using seed beads and faux pearl beads. All pieces appropriately marked "Eavis & Brown London / Made in England" aside from black skirt. Both pieces in first set are size large; blouse in second set marked "Eavis & Brown London / Made in England", size medium, skirt lacking label and size tag, flat lay measurements: waist 16", center back 41"; both pieces in third set are size large. Approximate dimensions: Provenance: From the Gaston Collection, acquired through generational transfer from the Estate of Louise Frederick Hays (1881-1951), wife of Senator James E. Hays; the Estate of Louise Frederick Hays Gaston and Dr. Joseph H. Gaston III; and the Estate of Dr. J. Harper Gaston and Dr. Anne Elizabeth Hendrick Gaston. The multi-generational collection was housed at two notable Georgia homes�Twin Oaks (a National Register Greek Revival estate in Greenville, Georgia and Rhodes Hall (the �castle on Peachtree Street� that functioned a Georgia State Archives from 1930-1965)
