This double vinyl LP set, titled Those Glorious MGM Musicals, contains two complete original motion picture soundtracks: Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and Rose Marie. Released by MGM Records in 1973 under catalog number 2-SES-41-ST, this collection is part of a limited edition reissue series compiled and produced by John Ierardi and Richard Oliver. The Seven Brides for Seven Brothers soundtrack features Jane Powell and Howard Keel with musical direction by Adolph Deutsch. The Rose Marie soundtrack features Ann Blyth, Howard Keel, Fernando Lamas, and Bert Lahr, conducted by George Stoll. The back cover provides a comprehensive tracklist for all four sides and indicates that these recordings were previously released as MGM album E-3769. The front cover displays the original theatrical poster art for both films. The official Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer lion logo with the Latin motto Ars Gratia Artis is visible on the top center of the front and back, and the MGM Records trademark is printed on the lower corners. Domestic shipping within the U.S. is $12 for a single album. International shipping is also available. Shipping discounts will be applied when multiple records are purchased. Dimensions: 12" dia.
