Antique Theatre Binoculars "Carpentier Paris" in Brass and Leather with Case 1920 - French Deco Period. Description: Refined and elegant opera/theatre binoculars of French manufacture. On the gilded central bridge the inscription of the maker's brand is clearly visible: "CARPENTIER" on one side and "PARIS" on the other. The instrument body is made of brass, with the optical barrels and the parasols neatly clad. It features a classic focusing system via a knurled central wheel. The piece is accompanied by its convenient protective black leather molded case, equipped with a zipper closure and soft inner lining. The brass and leather theatrical optical instruments from Parisian manufacture were a very fashionable accessory during the Belle Époque. The item presents in excellent cosmetic condition. The metals display a natural and fascinating patina of time, even the leather case is in good shape, with the zipper functioning. Photos are an integral part of the description.
