Collection of the Leggett Family, Danville, Virginia A handsome and sturdy set with general shelf wear including marks to leather and small areas of rubbing; one volume with a small area of possible repair to rear joint; text blocks extremely clean overall with occasional light foxing (concentrated on endpapers), mild handling wear and toning, and a rare spot of grime; title pages and frontispieces printed on different paper with some occasional additional variation in paper type at preliminaries.
