12 extremely rare surviving episodes from period 1901-1902 from Sunday Comics sections featuring episodes of The Teasers. There are no comics on the back. On some pages 'The Teasers' come along with Simon Simple by Ed Carey or Herr Spiegelburger by Carl Anderson who made later the famous 'Henry'. Fragile pages. "The Teasers" is an early American newspaper comic strip created by the pioneering cartoonist C.W. Kahles (Charles William Kahles). While Kahles introduced several strips throughout his prolific career—including his most famous creation, Hairbreadth Harry—The Teasers is notable as part of the early evolution of the Sunday color comic sections in American journalism during the Platinum Age of comics. The pages are in good condition, although wrinkles, tears, flaking and missing pieces may occur. Will be shipped with track&trace. The lots in this auction can be shipped combined. This is taken into account up to a weight of 5 kg. If packages need to be split due to weight, an additional charge will apply. In this case, we will contact you. #specialcollectionservice
