THE OFFICIAL MEDAL OF THE COUNTY BOROUGH OF HASTINGS. A THREE PIECE 22CT GOLD SET BY JOHN PINCHES. The official medal of the county borough of Hastings Commemorating the 900th Battle of Hastings. A three medal set. Each with the armorial shield of Hastings, a long boat below 'Battle of Hastings 100th Anniversary 1966'. Reverse with scenes of the battle with 'MLXVI' to the exurge. By John Pinches (medallists) Ltd of London, number 90 from an edition of 500 sets. The rims numbered 90 and hallmarked. In case of issue with certificate. 5.8 cm 132.21 g, 4.5 cm 77.50 g and 3.2 cm 31.57 g. (Eimer 2108).
