The colors of the Devil's Moor by Gary Westall Painting 15.8 x 11.8 :: This is a homage to the Worpswede Artists' Colony. At the Arte art fair in Osnabrück several paintings by artists from the Worpswede Artists' Colony were shown including a painting by Hans am Ende entitled ""Birches at the Moorgraben."" I was immediately captivated by his color palette. Since photos were not requested I memorized the image particularly its color scheme and converted it into a painting. Signed lower left.
