Technics - SU-3150 Solid state integrated amplifier

Technics SU-3150 is a classic vintage stereo integrated amplifier produced in Japan by Technics between 1974 and 1977. This model is known for its compact "bookshelf" size, the very solid silver-colored aluminum housing and a warm, detailed display that is typical of the 70s hi-fi. At the time, this amplifier was often sold as a set together with the matching ST-3150 tuner. Main Specifications Output power: 2x 17 Watt RMS at 8 Ohms (2x 20W at continuous load according to some measurements). Although this sounds modest, the amplifier performs very dynamically in practice. Frequency range: 7 Hz to 90,000 Hz. Total harmonic distortion (THD): 0.5%. Damping factor: 30 (at 8 Ohms). Signal-to-noise ratio: 74 dB (Phono), 82 dB (Line). Dimensions: 386 x 115 x 303 mm (w x h x d). Connections & Functions Inputs: Features two Phono inputs (MM) for record players, a Tuner input, an AUX input and two Tape Monitors (Play/Rec). Outputs: Space for two pairs of speakers (Main / Remote, 4Ω to 16Ω) and a front headphone jack. Tone control: Equipped with knobs for Bass and Treble, a Loudness switch (for fuller bass at low volumes), a Mono/Stereo switch and Low/High filters to filter out any noise or subsonic vibrations. Tested and operational! Pictures are all original of this lot and part of description!
