Rare specimen of the TAG Heuer S99.206 watch, i.e., the model used by Ayrton Senna during the McLaren seasons in the 1990s, as evidenced by the photo published by TAG Heuer on its profile. A highly sought-after model, as it is the subject of a new publication by TAG Heuer, which is retracing its history through memories of watches like this that have marked it over time. The model is marked with the letter M (S99.206M), which indicates the metal bracelet. This model of watch for sale is particularly rare and sought after because the dial bears only the inscription 200 METERS and does not include the later-added “professional” inscription. The watch is in excellent condition, fully functional (battery just changed) and with almost imperceptible signs of wear, due to the fact that it is a watch from 35 years ago. Sold with a collector’s display, as well as the original Tag Heuer box and an elegant green travel case. Not to be confused with the S25.706 model or with the S25.206 model that Ayrton Senna wore with a leather strap.
