Tad Burness – American Car Spotter’s Guide 1920–1939 Motorbooks International, 1975. Paperback. An identification guide arranged by manufacturer, featuring numerous black-and-white photographs, drawings and technical details. Covers Cadillac, Buick, Packard, Chevrolet and many other makes. 2. James H. Moloney – Encyclopedia of American Cars 1930 to 1942 Beige hardcover with red lettering and illustration. An illustrated reference work featuring black-and-white photographs, historical information and descriptions of manufacturers and models. Condition varies. The Burness book shows substantial cover wear, surface loss to the printed design, staining, yellowing, creases and small tears. It bears previous-owner stamps and a handwritten annotation on the title page. Wear and separation are visible at the rear inner hinge. The Moloney volume is better preserved, with minor marks to the boards and signs of age to the pages. The photographs show the two actual books offered and form part of the description.
