I am parting with this family treasure. Very beautiful antique French dinner service, complete: A large tablecloth + 11 matching napkins. Tablecloth dimensions = 250x175 and the napkins = 78x68 The fabric is a linen blend (métis) or pure linen, in white. It’s the slightly nubbly napkin typical of home linens from the 1920s-1950s. Drawn-thread work and a Venise border. The two openwork bands in a ladder pattern along the edge of the tablecloth and the napkins. It is handmade, very refined. White embroidered monogram AC, in raised embroidery / thick satin stitch. The intertwined letters in a diamond-shaped cartouche with small swirls. This is a trousseau monogram embroidery, not industrial. Very good overall condition, fabric sound, no hole. Slight small stains. Ideal for a festive table, rustic wedding, family home Complete service
