Large vintage table lamp in Strindberg style – Brass & Opaline glass – circa 1960/1970 A very elegant and monumental table lamp in the iconic Strindberg style, dating from the second half of the 20th century. This concerns the sought-after large version with an impressive height of approximately 59 cm. The lamp features a heavy, fluted (grooved) brass column base resting on a broad, stable round base. The iconic, mushroom-shaped shade is made of high-quality white opaline glass (hand-blown quality), providing a very warm, atmospheric and diffuse spread of light. The timeless design combines influences from Art Deco and Jugendstil, making this lamp a striking feature in both a classic Hollywood Regency and a modern eclectic interior.
