Large Hollywood Regency / Art Deco Table Lamp with Frosted Glass Shade (1970s/1980s) An imposing and very atmospheric vintage table lamp executed in the recognizable Hollywood Regency and Art Deco style. This sturdy lamp is a true eye-catcher thanks to its generous dimensions and refined material choice. The heavy, gold-colored brass base is equipped with an elegantly centered collar that evokes a pleated fan or flower calyx. On top rests a large, semi-circular shade of high-quality frosted glass (frosted/opaline glass) with an exact diameter of 40 cm. The shade is richly decorated with a stylized Art Deco relief of leaves and a wavy edge. The shade is held securely in place by three brass decorative knobs and a decorative nut on top. When the lamp is lit, the frosted glass provides a beautiful, even light diffusion, bringing the details of the leaf motif to life in a atmospheric manner.
