Table lamp - Biscuit porcelain - Mid Century

Spectacular desk lamp, made of bronze and Biscuit porcelain, of French origin and crafted in the mid-20th century. The lamp, with a marked Neoclassical style, starts from an impressive brass base pierced with asymmetric volutes that elevates the piece and gives it great stability and beauty. The gilded bronze shaft emerges in a curved form behind the figure, allowing the sculpture to be the absolute protagonist without visual interference. As the main element we find the delicate Biscuit porcelain figure, in a matte finish and silky touch, of a young woman seated beside a flowering tree trunk, capturing an idyllic pastoral scene of great romanticism. It is in excellent condition, with magnificent patina and with rewired wiring. Includes a contemporary white conical shade. Dimensions: 46 cm in height and 20 cm in diameter.
