*** State Visit of H.M. King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden 26.29.4.1993. *** This auction is for collectors of memorabilia from European royal houses, in this case Sweden. The item on offer here is rather something very special, as it is not a souvenir or trinket from Sweden. This royal badge with the 3 crowns for Sweden was issued only to members of the delegation of the official state visit. At the time I worked for the Protocol of the Foreign Office in Bonn with appropriate security clearance. The original security badge is, as pictured, part of the auction and the badge comes with the accompanying blue box. From the same period is also this rare German Federal Eagle as a key ring. I would be very pleased to speak with a passionate collector about these special Royal Memorabilia items that cannot simply be bought in a shop.
