Oil painting on canvas, A Still Life with copper kettle, leek and onions, Painted by the artist Suze de Lint, Suzanna Gerdina (Suze) de Lint (1878–1953) was a talented Dutch painter, etcher and draftsman, known for her atmospheric landscapes and extremely detailed botanical engravings. She was born in Princenhage and pursued her artistic training at the Academy of Visual Arts in The Hague, the city where she later spent most of her life living and working. Her oeuvre includes fine etchings of plants and flowers, intimate interiors and paintings of farms and nature scenes, which she often captured during her stays in artist villages such as Heeze. Work is generally in good condition (there are old restorations) Work is signed lower right and is housed in a matching frame. Canvas size is 57 by 57 cm. The work is carefully packaged and shipped.
