Made in Canada. 1953 - 1960. Double-sided painted metal (DSPM). Sturdie was a Lethbridge, Alberta independent. The Sturdie Motor Oil brand started in August 1942 and operated through the 1950s. The "Sturdie Oils Limited" brand started in 1953 which is the company name on the cans. Prior to the name change the company was John V. Johansen and Co. Marked, "CCC-90" lower right Authenticated by The Authentication Company (TAC #501859). All items are guaranteed authentic by Miller & Miller Auctions.
