Studio's Hergé - 1 Original drawing - Kuifje - "Hallo"...

Studios Hergé was founded on April 6, 1950, because Hergé could no longer handle the weekly task of producing a page of The Adventures of Tintin by himself, especially as he raised the demands for the accuracy of the drawings. The studio began in 1950 at Hergé's house on Delleurlaan in Brussels, but moved in 1953 to Louizalaan. With the move, Hergé wanted to establish a clear separation between his work life and private life. In the studio, new Tintin adventures were produced (from Destination Moon), old albums were modernized, and advertising work and merchandising were created. The studio also contributed to several animated film projects. After Hergé's death in 1983, Studios Hergé became the organization that manages his estate, such as the copyrights for The Adventures of Tintin, The Mischief of Kwik and Flupke, and Jo, Suus and Jokko. In December 1986, Hergé's widow and sole heir Fanny Rodwell (born Fanny Vlamynck) decided to dissolve the studio, and the Hergé Foundation was established. In 1973 two small Tintin flip books (mutoscope books) appeared, in which flipping quickly would animate a drawn scene. Two issues were published; 1) Captain Haddock in "The Scare of His Life" 2) Jansen and Jansens – the famous detectives in "Two in One Go". This lot contains a fine original drawing from Part 1. It was used for the small flip book Part 1 published in 1973. The drawing is done in pencil and then inked. A splendid drawing that is still in excellent condition. Offering this lovely drawing (17.3 x 18.5 cm) provides a unique chance to acquire something beautiful from Studios Hergé. The photos of the publication are for information.
