Strati, Luca - Giclée - Poison Ivy

Luca Strati was born in Reggio Calabria in 1981, a student at the Florence Academy of Fine Arts, with a preference for sculpture. His artistic path began early; the son of the Reggio-born painter Mario Strati, he developed a passion for drawing and painting in a comic-artistic style at a very young age. He attended the International School of Comics in Florence from 1995 to 1997, continuing classical artistic studies in parallel. He also attended the Florence Academy of Fine Arts. He works as a freelance illustrator, concept designer, and sculptor. He authored several artworks for the Italian fanzine dedicated to Iron Maiden. In 2013 he began teaching anatomy and painting techniques at the International School of Comics in Jesi, now renamed ACCA ACADEMY. In 2022 the Tarot Steampunk Art Nouveau editions were released by Scarabeo; he worked as a concept artist for Kimera Models and as a cover artist for Heavy Metal, Dynamite Comics, Zenescope, Bad Bug Media, Mount Olympus Comics, Laguna Studios, Obscure Comics, Space Between Ent. He illustrated 4 card decks, Marvel and DC for Upper Deck Company. The Fine Art giclee prints are produced on German Hahnemühle paper 310gsm with an Epson SureColor 44" 12-color system. This combination represents one of the highest levels of fidelity in photographic and art reproduction (Fine Art). Each component of the equation contributes to a museum-quality final result, both visually and tactilely. The German Hahnemühle 310gsm has Museum-grade conservation (ISO 9706): Made 100% of α-cellulose, it is completely acid-free and contains a negligible percentage of optical brighteners (OBA). This means it does not yellow or deteriorate over time, keeping the print intact for over 100 years.
