Hand-forged wrought iron sculptural bench in solid wood - A unique work by Daniela Iraci Splendid sculptural art bench, a unique piece entirely conceived and handcrafted by the Italian artist Daniela Iraci. The conceptual base and backrest are formed by flowing lines of hand-forged iron, interwoven to recall the organic and dynamic forms of nature. The seat of this sculptural bench encloses a piece of Italian rural history. It is a thick and heavy plank of antique solid wood (presumably oak or chestnut from the period). The plank preserves its original through-holes, testimony to its previous life: the plank originally formed part of an ancient horse-drawn agricultural cart. Perfect both as a design interior furniture element (entrances, lounges, galleries) and as a sculpture for sheltered outdoor spaces. The work is sold directly by the artist.
