Stiff Little Fingers - Inflammable Material (UK) – 1979...

Very attractive 1979 UK second issue of Stiff Little Fingers' explosive debut album Inflammable Material, released on Rough Trade under catalogue number ROUGH 1. This is the early Rigid Digits label-credit version, which followed the first pressing carrying "Copyright Control" on the labels. It remains an original-period 1979 Rough Trade issue and features the classic Porky Prime Cut mastering associated with early copies. Inflammable Material was the first LP released by Rough Trade Records and remains one of the defining records of late-1970s UK punk, containing classics such as "Suspect Device," "State of Emergency," "Wasted Life," "Johnny Was" and "Alternative Ulster." What makes this copy especially attractive is the exceptional preservation of the sleeve: approximately 90% of the original shrink wrap remains intact, and the album is complete with its original black-and-white printed lyric inner sleeve. ⸻ Sleeve (NM): An exceptional example with approximately 90% of the original shrink wrap still present. The exposed areas remain remarkably clean, with virtually no significant wear to the underlying sleeve. The front and back covers retain their strength and visual impact. Original printed lyric inner sleeve included → NM Vinyl (EX): The vinyl is in excellent condition with a strong original shine and only minimal evidence of previous play. A particularly clean example throughout, grading EX. ⸻ Details * UK second issue, 1979 * Rough Trade ROUGH 1 * Rigid Digits label credit * Original-period pressing * Original printed lyric inner sleeve * Approximately 90% still in original shrink wrap * Porky Prime Cut mastering ⸻ Matrix / Stampers * ROUGH 1/SIDE 1 * ROUGH 1/SIDE 2
