Stamped Lothar Seifert - Violin bow - Germany - 1960

A very fine and old violin bow by Lothar Seifert, made around 1960. Stamped “Lothar Seifert” Octagonal stick made of interesting figured pernambuco wood of golden-brown color, and is powerful but elastic. The frog of ebony with an eye. Silver mounted. Very good condition, only some minor scratches and wear. The stick is straight, hair needs to be renewed. The bow produces a very sweet and powerful tone. Weight 61 gr., total length 738 mm.
