Stamped Erich Steiner - Viola bow - Germany - 1960

A very fine and old viola bow by Erich Steiner, made around 1960. Stamped “Erich Steiner” Round stick made of interesting figured wood of golden-brown-reddish color. The frog of ebony with an eye. Nickel mounted. Weight 70 gr., total length 734 mm. Very good condition, only some minor scratches and wear. The stick is straight, hair needs to be renewed. The bow produces a very sweet and powerful tone.
